Last Week of this class

wow, the last eight weeks have gone by really fast. I have enjoyed this class and I really liked working on my research paper. I have been researching Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and I have never been able to find so many books on it until I started this paper. I have learned so much more information about it and I am happy about that. I am glad that it is over with and turned it but that took a lot of work. So far, that is the longest paper I have written. But I enjoyed it. I hope I have more online classes like this. I really enjoyed. I hope everything has a great semester.

Last week of February

Wow, this month has gone by so fast. This class is almost over and I'm sad about that. I have enjoyed this online class a lot. I have enjoyed reading what everyone thinks about certain things and I think that it is really interesting.
I am working again and so far I have been enjoying it a lot. Lifeguarding and swim instructing at the YMCA. I have always enjoyed it. My husband is on the road again so I am missing him. I hang out with my friends a lot to keep my mind off of it. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Crazy Week

This has been such a crazy week and it went by so fast too. I got to talk to my brother who is over seas in Iraq so that made my week. I was so glad to get to talk to him and so sad that I had to let him go. My husband is a truck driver and he was able to come home this week as well. Granted, we had to do taxes but he was able to be here! I'm getting more and more homework with my classes and I'm having to study more. Hope that goes by quick! I can't believe that this online class is almost over. So far, this semester has gone by really fast. I hope I get everything done next week that I need to get done.

Valentine's Week

I can't believe Valentine's Day has already come and passed. This year has started going by really fast. I wonder if the rest of the year will be going this fast. Classes have been going well. I wish I could have all my classes online. I think it would be so much easier on me. Valentine's Day was yesterday. I have never liked the holiday however I know many people do.
I am learning a lot about this website stuff and I think that it is really neat. I have had to do this before, however, I do not remember it. I have already finished two tests for this semester and so far so good. I am hoping that the rest of this semester goes by just like it has been so far.

This Week

I believe that this last week has been one of my hardest. I just haven't felt like doing anything and that is hard when you have classes to go to and work and everything. I know there are other students who probably feel the same way a lot. I just hate feeling like this because it makes me not want to even get out of bed.
I don't even have a lot of homework yet. I took one test so far and I aced it. I have another test on Thursday next week and that is one I am worried about. I hope I do well on it.
After next week I am able to go back to work so I'm kind of excited about that. I won't work a lot, I still will have to get used to working again. Anyway, I am going to start trying to read books outside of class again. One of the discussions on the website is talking about what books people are reading and some of them sound very interesting.

Alfred Hitchcock

So I am taking a class Films of Alfred Hitchcock and I am really liking it. I have always liked his movies but I love how we are going in depth with them and his background. I love learning about the difference in lighting in the movies and what it means. There are a few Hitchcock movies I haven't seen and now I will be able to and maybe I will have time to watch more. I am wondering about the project we will be doing.

On another note, I really like all my classes, not just that one. I like online classes for example, this one. I am ready for the rest of this semester and I'm already ready for it to be over as well. I'm kind of in between. The faster this one ends, the faster the next one begins.

ICE

The only thing I don't like about living in Oklahoma is the weather when it is cold. I really don't like weather under 80, lol. This last week we had ice and we had a couple of days where we couldn't go anywhere. Because of the car I drive, it does not do well on ice, or anything, I could not really go anywhere. I was able to go back to class on Friday and that went well. I am liking all my classes and I think this semester is going by well.

Classes

So now I am already done with the second week of class and I am already kind of tired. It could be from the medication I have to take because of the pneumonia I had last month. However, I am liking all my classes. One of them, Films of Hitchcock, I love just because I have always enjoyed those movies. Now I get to study them in depth and I like the thought of that. I also am enjoying this class because I'm learning about different things with blogging and fallacies and fallacies within television shows. Some things I never really thought about.
My husband is a truck driver and he is on the road again so I'm trying to keep myself busy with school, work, and helping my sister in law. My sister in law has two kids and her husband (my brother) is overseas so I try helping her as much as I can. We both understand what it's like to have our husbands gone. So there are nights that I will go over to her house and sleep over so we keep ourselves company. She takes all her classes online so we tend to study together.
So, I'm looking forward to this week. I go back to the doctor for a checkup and to make sure everything is ok with me and to make sure there is not any more fluid in my lungs. So hopefully I won't have to take my medication anymore.

1st Week of School is Over

Wow, this week went by kind of fast. So far I already of studying to do and next week I have two papers that are due. Right now I'm still looking forward to this semester and I'm really hoping that I learn a lot. Only a couple of semesters to go and I'm ready!

This Semester

So, a new semester is starting and I'm really excited about it. Christmas Break was not the best for me. I ended up in the hospital with pneumonia and I'm still taking medicine for it. Other than that, I am ready for this semester and I think it will be a good one. I should be graduating in the fall so that makes me even more excited.

7th week of class

wow, this week has gone by fast for me. I have been really busy working, going to class and keeping up with homework. I have enjoyed this week's readings however some of the poems were really confusing. After reading some of the other responses, it makes the poems clearer and I will have to reread them to try to understand them again. I hope everyone has a great week. I can not believe that this class is almost over. I have enjoyed this one and I will miss it. I wish there were more English classes online.

6th Week of Class

Well, I forgot to type in here last week. So I'm going to try to type in here two times this week, not knowing if that would help my grade or not. I really enjoyed all the readings this last week. They were all insteresting and I loved the poem "When You Are Old." It just seemed intersting to me and I like how it is kind of ambiguous.
I have enjoyed making the web page. I have never made one before. I enjoyed getting all the information together and now if I ever need to make one again I know how. I can't believe that this class is almost over. Two weeks. Wow. It just seems insane in a way. My other classes will keep going but this one will be done. I have enjoyed this class. It's been quite interesting and I love to read everyone's insights and opinions on different things.

5th week of class

This has been one long week. I have been so busy with everything I felt like I was a chicken running around with my head cut off.
I have enjoyed this week's readings. Especially Great Expectations. It has been a while since I read it and this time I got so much more out of it. I think I will have to read it again in a few years to see if I can get even more out of it.
The Goblin Market poem was very interesting. I loved everyone's responses to it as well. I interpreted one way and I loved how everyone else took it another way and I could see what they meant.
I am getting a little confused on the project we are about to be working on and I just hope I can fully understand it by Monday or Tuesday. Wish me luck! Hope everyone has a great week!

4th week of class

Well, this week has gotten better for me. Everything is going a lot better.
I have really enjoyed the readings from this week. I can't decide which poem I like better. I think it might be "Say Over Again." All the poems we read have a great meaning and I enjoyed reading how everyone else in the class interpreted them and what they thought about it.
This week went by really fast and I didn't have to work a lot this week but next week I work 6 days out of the week.
Can't wait to start reading this week's assignments! Hope everyone is enjoying the class.

part 2 of Third Week

Well, I have been writing my first essay paper for this class and I just hope that I did it right. The more I think about the paper even after I have turned it in, I know I could have argued the other side as well and I sit here and second guess myself and I wonder if I should have argued the other side.
Today has not been the greatest day for me. I wish I could just go back and rewrite it. I was going home from church and I blew out a tire. Something slashed right through it. Some part of my car flew through it and now my car won't even work even after changing the tire. So now my car is in the shop and I hope they can tell me something about it tomorrow. I'm staying at my brother's house so I can use his car in the morning to get to all of my classes. I just need a new car.

Back to school work: been having a lot of homework but not bad. I mean there's a lot but it's pretty easy. I've enjoyed this class more so far and I think it's because I can choose when I can do my work. Also I don't have to worry about getting there like I do some of my other classes because of my car. Hopefully this next week opens doors and I can be in a better state of mind.

Third Week of class

This week as been really interesting and crazy. I stayed up at the hospital with my best friend because her baby was sick with RSV. Then my sister in law was also in the hospital, but now everyone is ok and I can be happy.

I enjoyed reading Frankenstein this semester. I also enjoyed what everyone else had to say about it. It opened my eyes to knew ideas about it. I liked the question about whether or not Walton was an unreliable narrator or not and that seemed really interesting. I enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts on it. I believe that he was an unreliable narrator simply because he was wanting a friend and he believed he found one in Victor and so he makes Victor seem like the good guy.

Second Week of School

Wow. I am so wore out from this week. I never thought that this week would end. This class however is making my life easier. I have had a lot of homework and I have been working as well. I work at the Bethany YMCA as a lifeguard/swim instructor. I've just been so busy I feel like I could sleep for a week.
I am about to scream at my car as well. This is not helping my stress level. I just paid off my car yesterday and today it decides to try to die on me. I have a radiator leak, my air conditioner won't work, my heater won't work, and so many other things. It's a mess. I'm trying to keep this car until I graduate and then I'll just buy a brand new car.
Oh the stresses of everyday life. I just need to sit back and take a deep breath.....

First Week of Class

So far I am enjoying this class. I think I am getting more out of it then my other classes. In a lot of my other classes we do not speak out loud and discuss very often because everyone is "shy." In this class, you have to which I think I get a lot more out of because I read everyone else's post and they all make sense, they are just different opinions. But it makes me look at what we read in a different way.
